The owner of Titan Security Group began his interest in security at a young age. He studied martial arts, for over a decade, in a combination of Tae-Kwon-do, Hap-Ki-do and Tang-Soo-do, eventually obtaining his 1st degree black belt in 1998.

He has over 15 years of experience in the Law Enforcement, Physical Security, and Executive Protection fields. During this time, he worked in Washington D.C. as a special agent for a federal agency and held a TS/SCI security clearance. He has experience providing security, at the highest level, for critical events such as Presidential Inaugurations, State of the Union Addresses, Congressional Delegations, and National Conventions.

Additionally, he has worked on teams providing Dignitary Protection for high ranking government officials and for Continuity of Government (COG) positions. For years, he traveled the country conducting advance work such as risk assessments, threat analysis, and security surveys. He also had the responsibility of managing logistical meetings for support from other local law enforcement agencies, federal entities, and military counterparts. Some places he spent significant time conducting security details in have been Washington DC, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Salt Lake City, Vermont and Hawaii.

In 2005, he became a certified Professional Protection Specialist from the Executive Protection Institute. In 2007 and in 2010, he received training from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA and in Cheltenham, MD. He attained his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Organizational Communication from Bob Jones University. He holds a Master’s degree in Homeland Security Management from Long Island University. He is also certified, through FEMA’s National Incident Management System (NIMS) Training Program, in IS-100, 200, 700, and 800. In 2015, he was honored as a Finalist, in the 2015 Presidential Management Fellowship Program, through the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. In 2017, he made the move from Washington D.C. to Arizona where he became an AZPOST certified law enforcement officer in the state of Arizona as well as an AZPOST certified General Instructor and CIT (Critical Incident Team) officer. He also has experience as a Field Training Officer (FTO) and a SWAT Crisis Negotistor (CNT).
