Providing Executive Protection Class
Executive/Dignitary Protection is often misunderstood. If the term “Bodyguard” is being used, more than likely the proper mindset and general understanding of the job is misguided. As an example, the job of a Professional Protection Specialist is not simply providing for the safety of the dignitary. Another responsibility, that can be just as important and more frequently dealt with, is keeping your protectee clear from public embarrassment. This may mean having proper backup attire for the protectee. It could also mean knowing your protectee’s schedule and making sure they are on time.
Anyone can be a bodyguard, but only those properly trained can be a Professional Protection Specialist.
