Policy Development
Titan Security Group can assist in the review, development and implementation of security policies and procedures. Security policies are vital to establishing standards and expectations as well as limiting liabilities for your business. Insurance companies will ask, after a claim, what security measures were in place, whether or not there were written policies, and if so, how employees were made aware of the policies (i.e. training).
A Security Policy is often referred to as an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) or an Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and establishes guidelines to manage an emergency in an effective, efficient, and safe manner. Federal guidelines mandate formal documented EAP’s be in place for any business with more than ten employees. These plans must be taught to all employees and accessible in the workplace for review [OSHA 29 CFR 1910.38]. They are meant to be used for all types of emergencies on an as-needed basis.
